Legislative Decree 81/08 (modified by Legislative Decree 106/09) demands for a conformity assessment of machinery put into service in Italy before 09/21/1996, and that don't have a CE Marking.

• Article 70 of Legislative Decree demands that the machinery and equipment built in absence of legislative provisions are in accordance with the general safety requirements described in Annex V;
• Article 71 demands that the employer make available for the employees technical equipment in compliance with Article 70. It demands also technical and organizational measures to minimize the risks connected with the use of such machinery and equipment;
• Article 72 demands that anyone selling, renting, granting in use machinery or equipment without CE Marking, guarantee under their responsibility that they are in compliance with Annex V.

Vericert S.r.l., as Expert Body about machinery and equipment, provides the employer of a Conformity Certification and Compliance with Annex V and VI of Legislative Decree 81/08.

The procedures adopted are as followed:

• Analysis of machinery and equipment;
• Definition of necessary upgrades;
• Emission of the Conformity Assessment;
• Definition of a User manual (if the machinery don't have one already).
